Cornerstone Architects was established in 1989 by Tom Nemitz to provide creative design and full service architecture. With offices in Grand Rapids, Detroit and Traverse City, Michigan, Cornerstone has established a reputation of exceptional client service, design excellence, and results that work.
Our greatest achievement has been the enduring relationships we have developed with our clients, cultivated through their architectural challenges and the solutions we develop together. We feel fortunate that 90% of our work is generated from our existing clients.
Our multi-disciplinary experience in a vast range of project types has solidified our reputation as a high-quality, creative, and practical architectural and planning firm. Our frequent work with developers, municipalities, as well as community members allows us to understand the needs of all parties, and to create designs that truly benefit everyone.
