The Select Bank Building
Grand Rapids, Michigan
Size: 17,800 SF

The Grand Rapids Savings Bank Building epitomized the period of commercial growth and development Grand Rapids experienced in the pre-World War I era. Finished with details derived from the architecture of classical Rome, this building was the crowning achievement of Osgood and Osgood, the Grand Rapids architecture firm that designed this and many other of the city’s prominent early twentieth-century landmarks. Cornerstone Architects preserved the existing details where possible but was also able to upgrade the infrastructure to meet the needs of today’s banking industry standards.
